We've said it before and we'll say it again, Ava's Demon fans are THE BEST. We are OVERWHELMED at how much progress we've made -- y'all are gobbling up stretch goals like Pac-Man! 

Here's your latest achievement - Gold Gilded Edges!

Yeah, we literally couldn't make this book any sweeter...well, unless you count one of the stretch goals to be unlocked in Batch 2! But more on that later...

For now, let's focus on our next stretch goal! It's a big-un...

That's right, an all-new Ava's Demon 8-page comic by Michelle Czajkowski Fus! 

Check the Ava's Demon Twitter for a special teaser of Michelle's comic today...and be sure to share both it AND the campaign with all your friends so we can go ahead and officially add Michelle's story to the book!

Thank you all so much for all the support you've given us this far! We blew through a LOT of our first several goals very quickly, but have no fear. We've still got a lot more where those came from. 

Free Poster!

The goods keep on coming in our first batch of Stretch Goals. We hit $150,000 so fast, and we couldn't have done it without you! Now, everyone who backs tiers with a physical book will also be getting an 11''x17'' fold out Ava's Demon poster to go with all their stuff. Show it off on your walls at home! And congratulations! 

Now to see what's next in store...

Good looking books can never have too much gold. If we can get to $175,000 we're going to be giving the book some snazzy gold gilded edges. They'll really give the book that "check me for the opening of a cool secret door" vibe. 

Please keep sharing your love for our campaign! It's really great to see so many returning backers and Ava community members to support Michelle in their work. REVEALED! Stretch Goals Batch One – New Stories, Gold Foil + MORE!

WHAT A DAY! Thank you all for, well, everything! We wouldn’t have been able to bring this project to life without you, and we’re so happy you’re taking this ride with us!

As promised, here are our first batch of Stretch Goals! Most of these are designed to make your books as beautiful as possible, with a few other surprises thrown in for good measure.

Have a look!  

Embossed Logo!

This one is already funded! We’ll be embossing the logo on the cover of the book to give it a sweeter, more tactile feel!

Gold Foil!

This one is also already funded! Our second goal will be to add gold foil flourishes on the cover and spine of our book. Shiny, shiny foil!

Bonus Stories!

Michelle doesn’t create Ava’s Demon alone, they do it with a group of very talented colorists, all of whom are exceptional artists in their own right! Our third stretch goal will increase the page count of the book to include 16 pages of bonus stories from the Ava’s Demon team! ...And guess what? This one is ALSO already funded!

Poster!

We all love the stunning piece Michelle did for the cover of the art book, so our fourth stretch goal will be to produce an 11x17 inch fold-out poster and include it with every book! Hang it on your wall! 

Gold Gilded Edges!

The last of our book upgrades is the ultimate book flourish – adding gold gilded edges! Now, this is a book fit for Titan!

Michelle Czajkowski Fus 8-page Story!

A Kickstarter-exclusive in-canon Ava’s Demon short story by Michelle Czajkowski Fus! We don’t want to give too much away…but…it may or may not be about the date between Crow and Merita...

Yeah, we’re pumped, too! And if you think this batch of stretch goals is exciting, just wait until Batch 2…which we’ll reveal as soon as we fund Batch 1! So please be sure to share the campaign with as many folks as possible in the coming days!

FUNDED IN UNDER AN HOUR & art book intro reveal!

What just happened?!?! Thank you SO MUCH for all the support you’ve given the campaign so far. We hit our funding goal in UNDER AN HOUR! We’re overwhelmed by the generosity of the Ava’s Demon community, and the journey is just beginning!   

We promised you some surprises, and here’s our first one!   

We’re pleased to announce that the introduction to INNER DEMONS: ART OF MICHELLE FUS will be written by none other than illustrator supreme and Ava’s Demon fan LOIS VAN BAARLE aka LOISH! 

Here are some of the nice things Loish has to say:  

“When I first stumbled upon Michelle's work, it was one of those moments where I forgot what I was doing and got lost in their art. Not only do they have a lush and creamy painting style that drew me in, but their work is full of detail and life. Every drawing they make hints at a deeper, richer world behind it. Their work has that beautiful balance of storytelling and pure aesthetic indulgence--it's beautiful to look at and makes you want to know more.”
